1½ Cups Flour
¼ Cup Sugar
½ Cup Butter

⅔ Cup Butter, softened
1¼ Cups Sugar
¼ Cup Corn Syrup
1 Egg
½ tsp Almond Extract
1 Cup Flour
⅔ Cup Half & Half

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º Line a 9x13" pan with parchment paper. Make crust with first 3 ingredients to look like crumbs. Press in bottom of pan. Beat softened butter with sugar. Beat in egg, corn syrup and extract. Alternately add flour and half & half. (the mixture might look curdled). Gently spread on crust. Bake for 30 minutes until center is set. Cool on wire rack. Lift out using parchment paper. Cut into bars.
***Serve plain or top with strawberries or honey, caramel or chocolate.
