1 1/2 cups honey
1 1/2 cups milk
3/4 cup sugar
3 3/4 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
1/3 cup cooking oil or melted shortening
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

1. Bring honey, milk and sugar to a boil and cool.
2. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt.
3. Add to dry ingredients walnuts, cooking oil, eggs, and vanilla and the cooled mixture.
4. Add to baking pans
5. Bake at 325 for one hour
