Pastry for 1 crust pie
3 eggs, beaten
¾ cup sorghum
¾ cup light corn syrup
½ cup strong coffee
2 T butter, melted
salt
1 t vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
¼ cup sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare pastry and line pie plates. Trim edge. Start oven at 375º. Combine eggs, sorghum, syrup, coffee, melted butter, salt, and vanilla. Mix well. Combine pecans and flour. Add to egg mixture. Stir to mix. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 40-45 minutes. Cool at room temperature. Given to Alvah on July 6, 1983.
