1 cup of sugar
½ cup white corn syrup
1 cup of roasted salted peanut
1 t butter
1 t vanilla
1 t baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
In 1 ½ qt casserole stir together sugar and syrup. Microwave high for 4 minutes. Stir in peanuts. Microwave high for 3-5 minutes - until light brown. Add butter and vanilla, mix well. On high 1-2 minutes. Add baking soda and gently stir until light and foamy. Pour mixture onto a lightly greased cookie sheet, break into small pieces, and store in an air-tight container. Note: If raw peanuts are used add, before microwaving to the syrup mixture and ⅛ teaspoon salt. Pecan or cashews can be used instead of peanuts.
