1 Whole Chicken
1 Can Chicken Broth
1 Cube Butter
1 Tblsp Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
1/2 Tsp Sage
1/2 Tsp Poultry Seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°.

Rinse chicken inside and out with water. Make sure you remove any parts inside the chicken. Place chicken on to rack inside 9 x 13 baking pan. Pour chicken broth into bottom of pan.

In a small bowl or measuring cup, melt butter. Add seasoned salt, sage and poultry seasoning and stir. Baste chicken and place into oven.

Bake approximately 30 minutes each side, or until golden brown. Chicken is done with meat is white, not pink.

When I lived in Newport News, Virginia, Grandma and Papa came to visit me. On a weekday afternoon, Grandma made my favorite roast chicken with gravy, Stove Top stuffing, and green beans. When I came home for lunch, we had a wonderful feast!
