1 TB oil
1 cup diced carrots
4 cups chicken broth
2 cups water
1 diced medium potato
16 oz dry split peas
½ tsp thyme
½ bay leaf
½ tsp pepper
1 cup finely diced ham

Directions:
Directions:
Set instant pot to saute.
Add oil and carrots.
Saute for about 3 minutes.
Press cancel.
Add the rest of the ingredients to pot.
Cook on high for 15 minutes.
Natural release for 15 minutes.
