1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg SEPARATED
1 cup sifted flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts
currant jelly

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar

Add egg yolk ONLY and cream well, then add flour.

Roll into small balls- a little larger than a marble.

Dip into egg white- then roll into chopped nuts.

Put them onto a greased pan. Make a "dent" in center of each ball.

Bake in oven at 350º for 5 MINUTES

Remove pan from oven. Enlarge the dent in each - a little more.

Put a little jelly into each dent and bake 15 MINUTES more @ 300º

Total baking time-20 MINUTES
