1 cup scalded milk
1 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons sugar
1 cake yeast
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
about 3 cups ?????

Directions:
Directions:
Scald the milk & add 1/12 cups flour. Beat well, then cool to LUKE WARM.
Crumble yeast with the 2 teaspoons sugar. Add to soft sponge and beat well.
Let rise in the bowl for 45 minutes (said 4-5, but that was crossed out)
Add sugar, eggs, salt and butter.and 1 cup flour. Knead last bit of flour. Let rise in same bowl 1 1/2 hours.
Top with 6 Tablespoons sugar (and) 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon.

There are no baking instructions. It's not clear, but perhaps the last "about 3 cups" was flour?
