7 lbs. tomatoes
1 qt. carrots
6 onions
1/2 head cabbage
1/2 bunch celery
2 green peppers
1 qt. water
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt per pint

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare vegetables, chop or slice. Cook for 1 1/2 hours on stove top, stirring occasionally. Then, add 1/2 teaspoon salt to each pint. Process 10 minutes in cold water bath.

When I use the soup starter, I add meat, potatoes, corn, green beans, and peas. Sometimes add a little beef base or beef broth to add more flavor.
