1 ¼ flour
3 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ cup sugar
2 ½ cups Bran Flakes cereal
1 ¼ cups milk
1 egg
⅓ cup vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º
Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Set aside.
Measure Bran Flakes and milk into a mixing bowl. Stir to combine. Let stand 1-2 minutes.
Add egg and oil. Beat by hand. Beat well.
Add dry ingredients, stirring only till combined.
Pour into muffin cups.
Bake 25 minutes.

Grandma always had these when we visited! Either hot out of the oven, served with softened butter, or taken out of the freezer and microwaved! Loved sitting in her kitchen eating muffins.
