1 lb. vanilla wafers
1 lb. confectioner sugar
½ cup of butter
4 eggs
2 t vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
2 - 10 oz. frozen strawberries

Directions:
Directions:
Crush vanilla wafers into crumbs; spread one-half over the bottom of 9 x 13 dish. On top of a double boiler, combine powdered sugar, butter, and eggs. Cook until thickened stirring frequently. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour mixture over crumbs. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the mixture. Spread one-half of whipped cream over nuts; spoon on partially thawed strawberries. Cover with remaining wafer crumbs. Freeze. Allow softening slightly before serving. 8 servings.
