Ingredients:  
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
1 c. finely chopped pecans or hazelnuts
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
Confectioner's sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. In large bowl, combine all ingredients EXCEPT confectioner's sugar.
2. With hands, mix until thoroughly blended.
3. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
4. Preheat oven to 375 F.
5. Roll dough into 1.25 in diameter balls.
6. Place one inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets
7. Bake 15 to 20 minutes, until cookies set but not brown.
8. Let stand one minute, remove from pan.
9. Cool slightly.
10. Roll in confectioner's sugar while warm.
11. Cool completely.
12. Before serving, pre-roll in sugar.
