Fritter Batter:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vegetable oil

Vegetable:
1 cup whole corn, well drained
Coating:
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat 3 to 4 inches of cooking oil to 375 degrees in deep fat fryer or heavy pan. Measure first six ingredients for batter into bowl and beat with rotary beater or whisk until smooth. Stir about 1 cup of corn into Fritter Batter. Drop by tablespoons into hot oil and fry about 5 minutes or until thoroughly cooked. Drain on paper towels. Roll in powdered sugar and serve.
