2 sticks Imperial margarine
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
desired amount of chocolate chips*

*Can replace chocolate chips with M&M's for fun!

Cream first 6 ingredients. Add the rest. Bake @ 375 degrees for about 10-12 minutes. These are VERY rich and chewy, almost like candy bars.
So yummy!
