2½ cups pretzels, before crushed
¼ cup of sugar
8 tbsp unsalted butter, melted (1 stick)

1 cup white sugar
2-8 ounce pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 8 oz. container cool whip, thawed
1-6 oz. pkg. strawberry Jello
2 cups boiling water
1-16 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries (thawed) or 1 lb. fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine Jello with 2 cups boiling water and stir until completely dissolved. Set aside to cool to room temperature.
In a saucepan melt butter, stir in sugar and mix in crushed pretzels. Press into a 9x13 pan. Bake for 10 min. Cool to room temperature.
Beat the sugar and cream cheese together at med/high speed until fluffy and white. Fold in cool whip. Spread over cooled crust, go all the way to the edges to create a seal. Refrigerate 30 min.
Mix strawberries into your room temperature Jello. Pour over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate 2-4 hours.
