Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 cups superfine sugar
1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, at room temperature
6 ounces of cream cheese, at room temperature
4 large eggs, at room temperature
2 large egg yolks, at room temperature
1/4 cup half and half
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300º degrees and grease and flour a pound cake or Bundt pan.
Using an electric stand mixer beat sugar, butter and cream cheese at a medium high speed until very fluffy, about 5-9 minutes,
Beat in eggs one at a time on low speed, just until yellow disappears. As blending be sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl.
Add egg yolks, half and half and vanilla extract and beat on low just until mixed in.
Whisk together the flower and salt in a medium bowl and add flour mixture into the batter about a cup at a time on low speed.
Once all is mixed together pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake 1 hour or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let cool for about 10 minutes and then remove cake from the pan to cool completely.
Everyone's ovens are different so you may need to cook more than an hour.
