1 shallot or 3 green onions
1.5 in. ginger root
5 cloves garlic
3 tbsp. Mirin
3 tbsp. Garlic/Chili paste
1 cup Brown Sugar
2 1/2 cup White Sugar
3 c Soy
1/2 c Water
1 tsp hot curry

Directions:
Directions:
Chop finely shallot (green onion), garlic, ginger, and red pepper. Over a hot pan grill the chopped spices. When shallot (green onion) starts turning add the rest of the ingredients and boil for 5-6 minutes to allow flavors to mix well. Strain the mixture and allow to cool. use liquid to marinate meat over night . Brush fresh marinate over meat when serving as an option. You may also cook longer to reduce and thicken but after straining.
