3 ½ c flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp allspice
3 c sugar
1 c vegetable oil
4 eggs, lightly beaten
2 c pumpkin puree
2/3 c water

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º.

In large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, spices and sugar.

In bowl of electric mixer blend together oil, eggs, pumpkin and water.

Add liquid and powdered ingredients, stirring until just mixed.

Pour batter into 2 lightly greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in the center of a loaf comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool for 10 minutes. Remove from the pans and cool completely.

These freeze very well. Allow to cool and put in a gallon Ziplock.

We really like this made into muffins.
