1 bag of frozen Cavatelli
3 C broccoli, steamed
1 1/2 C chicken broth
3 cloves of garlic, sliced
4 T olive oil
1/2 C Parmesan cheese, freshly grated if possible
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, I do not use)
Salt & pepper to taste
Adobo to taste

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a sauce pan, heat the oil over medium heat.
2. Once the oil is hot, add the garlic and cook until lightly browned.
3. Add steamed broccoli, red pepper flakes if using, salt and pepper.
4. Add chicken broth and simmer for 3-5 minutes, set aside.
5. In a large pot, boil salted water and cook the Cavetelli per package instructions. They cook quickly. When floating they are done.
6. Drain pasta and add to sauce pan, toss to coat.Add adobo to taste.
7. Cook over medium heat for approx. 5-10 minutes.
8. Remove from heat and toss in the Parmesan.

Serve immediately.

I love this recipe! It is not greasy and is very flavorful. I use a lot of adobo! Recipe is easy to double and lasts for days.
