1 c chopped yellow cooking onion (2 medium onions)
1/2 c chopped celery
1 clove garlic minced
2 tbsp butter
1 medium head of Ontario cauliflower (about 2 lbs) cut into 1/2 inch pieces
2 cans (10 oz each) chicken broth
1 soup can water
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 bay leaf
1/2 c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion, celery and garlic in butter in large saucepan. Add cauliflower, chicken broth, water, salt, pepper, nutmeg and bay leaf to saucepan. Simmer covered 20-25 min or until cauliflower is tender. Remove bay leaf. Blend in batches until smooth and return to saucepan. Stir in milk. Heat thoroughly.
