3 Eggs
1 Cup sugar
1 Cup milk
4 tbsp. Margarine
1 heaping tbsp. coconut
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 heaping tbsp. cornstarch or flour

Directions:
Directions:
Separate eggs, beat yolks.

Mix sugar, cornstarch and coconut.

Add 1/4 milk to eggs, add dry ingredients, mix well. Add vanilla and remaining milk.

Melt margarine and add to mix. Heat over double-broiler until it starts ti thicken.

Pour into unbaked pie crust and bake until firm.

Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Add 6 tsp of sugar and mix until dissolved. Spoon onto pie, sprinkle with coconut and bake in oven until browned.
