⅔ cup shortening
⅓ cup sugar
4 eggs
2 ½ cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups mashed ripped bananas

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º Degrees

1. Beat shortening until creamy or about 2 minutes on medium speed
2. Gradually add sugar beating until fluffy.
3 Then add eggs and beaten until a pale lemon color
4. Slowly add dry ingredients and bananas blend thoroughly after each addition.
5. Only grease bottom of loaf pan. Loaf pan should be roughly 4½ x 8½ x 3 inches
6. Turn batter into pan
7. Bake 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes(60 to 70) or until toothpick or cake tester comes
out clean and dry.
8. Let bread partially cool in pan 20 to 30 minutes then cool on rack
