"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
I have learned the easiest way to steam asparagus from Alton Brown:

Clean and trim the asparagus. Lay out 4 layers of paper towel and pour about ¼ c. of water over them. Lay the asparagus on the damp paper towels in a clump and roll it up. Lay the bundle seam side down in the microwave and process on high for 3 or 4 minutes until just crisp tender.

I kid you not it really works!
