1 1/2 c. of sugar
3 T. cornstarch
1/4 c. lemon juice
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. boiling water
pinch of salt
1/4 c. butter
1 pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cornstarch, sugar, lemon juice, and salt. Beat egg yolks and add to the above mixture. Add boiling water. Beat real good. Can be cooked on direct heat, but stir constantly. Add 1/4 c. of margarine after it thickens. Beat egg whites add 6 T. sugar until stiff. Put on pie and brown.
