1 c. Butter, softened
1 c. Sugar
1 lg. Egg yolk
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 c. Flour
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 lg. Egg white
1 c. Pecans, chopped fine

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar; add yolk, vanilla, flour, and cinnamon then mix to a stiff dough. Pat dough out in a large slab on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Whip egg white until frothy. Spread over dough. Sprinkle with pecans, pat down slightly. Bake 350º 30 min. Cut into squares while warm. Store in airtight container.
