Butter pan (cookie sheet). Then put stove on med. Use different pan and combine (ingredients).

Let cook till it's to the hard ball stage or up to 270º on candy thermometor. Then scoop on buttered cookie sheet before it gets hard.

If you want suckers, put down 14 toothpicks on each cookie sheet you use. If you want to chew it, don't let it get quite to the hard ball stage.

Personal Notes:
I found this in my recipe box tonight 7-6-21, written by my "Little Sister, Stacey." I typed it as she had written it. I'm thinking that maybe she gave it to me at my Wedding Shower. She and her best friend, DeeAnn Jensen used to make lollipops all of the time, but when I talked to Stacey about it tonight, she told me that they usually just made it chewy and ate it instead of making it into lollipops! Thinking about it now, I do remember Stacey going through that "Lollipop" stage! Seems like she would come home and say, "Well, they didn't turn out quite right this time." Or, "Our lolly pops were really good!" The recipe is written on a card that says, "from the recipe file of Cheryl Jensen."
