2 egg whites
¾ cup sugar
½ tsp. vanilla
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Beat egg whites until stiff, add sugar gradually. Beat at high speed 5 minutes. Fold in Vanilla, chips and pecans. Drop from teaspoon onto foil-lined cookie sheet. Put in oven and turn off heat. Leave overnight or at least 8 hours. Makes about 3 dozen meringue-like cookies. You can add a few drops of food coloring (with nuts and chips) if you want them colored.
