2 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
3 eggs
3 cups plain flour
2 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp salt
1 can (15 oz) pumpkin

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Sift all dry ingredients together (flour, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and salt).
In a mixing bowl, mix together sugar, oil, and eggs. Once mixed well, add the dry ingredients slowly. Add pumpkin to the mixture. Pour into a greased tube pan. Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Let cake cool a bit, then turn upside down on a cake plate.
