2 cups sugar
1 lb. butter
½ cup water
1 tbsp. light Karo
1 cup cashews
2 bags Western Family Corn Curls (or sometimes called Corn Pops. You can use popcorn instead if the corn curls are not available.)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, sugar, water, syrup. Cook when it starts to smoke or steam, add cashews. Cook stirring constantly, until it starts to brown, about the color of a brown paper bag. Pour over corn curls and mix well. Spread out to cool.

This was a favorite treat for the Cluff children when they visited Grandma B. The corn curls were not available in our part of Arizona, and so this was always a special treat for the kids when they came up to Utah. Many times we would buy bags of them, to take back home with us, so we could make them at home. Grandma never failed to bring us a bag of her delicious Toffee Curls when she came to visit us in Arizona.
