8oz Plain Flour
3 oz Sugar
6 oz Butter
Pinch of Salt
Glace Cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Put flour, butter, sugar and salt in a bowl and rub in the butter. When it is the size of fine breadcrumbs, knead it into a dough.

Turn onto a floured board and roll to about a quarter
of an inch thick. Use a circular cutter to make about 10 to 12 biscuits. Put on a greased
baking tray and gently push half a glace cherry into the centre of each biscuit.

Cook until just a very pale brown – about 15 min at 175deg C, or 350 deg F or Mark 4

Keep an eye on them they overcook very quickly.
