2 cups flour
¼ tsp. baking powder
1 ½ tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
½ tsp. Accent
1 egg
2 cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare vegetables, pat dry, and arrange on platter or tray. Refrigerate. Combine batter ingredients in a bowl, mix with wire whip or fork. Dip vegetables one at a time into batter. Fry in hot oil until light brown and crispy on both sides. Drain on rack or paper towel.
