1lb elbow noodles
16oz sharp grated cheddar cheese (any brand)
5 eggs
4 cups whole milk
1/2 stick of real butter
1/2 tbsp ground mustard
1 tbsp salt
pepper to taste
5 dashes of liquid smoke

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the noodles until they are al dente. Drain them and mix the 1/2 stick of butter in while they are hot. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, salt, mustard and pepper.
Grate the cheese and add 3/4 of it to the wet mixture and then add the noodles and combine. Pour it all into a pan and cover it with the remaining cheese. Bake it at 350º for approximately 70 minutes. Let sit for about 5-10 minutes before digging in.

Please use real butter and whole milk. Also grate your own cheese, don't buy bagged shredded cheese, it doesn't melt as well.

*it will look like there is too much liquid before you put it in the oven, trust me, this is correct!
