1 eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
3 c boiling water
2 T melted shortening (not oil)
2 pkg dry yeast
½ c warm water
1 T salt
7 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the eagle brand milk with the 3 cups of boiling water in mixing bowl. Add in 2 Tablespoons melted shortening. Set aside to cool to room temp.

Meanwhile, add 2 packages of dry yeast to ½ c warm water. When milk is at lukewarm temp add water with yeast, and 1 Tablespoon salt. Add 6 or 7 cups of flour and knead well with hands.

First mixing use large bowl or dish pan kept just for bread.

Place back in bowl after kneading and let rise until double in bulk, 1 hour.

Make into 4 loaves, let rise 1 hour in bread pans. Bake 1 hour at 350º or until brown. Cool on racks. Store in plastic bags. Freezes very well.
