1 c shortening
¾ c brown sugar
¾ c granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp soda
2½ c flour
1 tsp salt
1 c chopped nuts
1 pkg chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Blend together the shortening and the sugars. Sift together the soda, salt and flour. Add the eggs, soda, flour and salt. Add the chopped nuts and chocolate chips and vanilla. Bake at 375º for 10 to 12 minutes From the 1970 RS Cookbook
