A whole prime rib--(7 ribs.) (Small ends cost more money than the large end.)
Have butcher wrap and tie the roast.
coarse salt rock to fill bottom of baking pan

Directions:
Directions:
Place prime rib roast, rib side down in large pan with a 1-inch bed of rock salt in bottom of pan. Sprinkle ribs with water until they glisten, then add rock salt. Lay with the water and salt, until ribs have been covered all around with salt at least 1-½ inches thick. Place in hot oven 450º for 20 minutes, reduce heat and cook at 350º 15 minutes for each pound of meat. Remove from oven and cut.
