1/2 c rice flour
1 1/2 c flour
3/4 c sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 stick butter, softened/8 oz
2 eggs + 2 egg yolks
2 tsp anise extract
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 egg whites + 1 Tbl water
sesame seeds

Directions:

Sift all dry ingredients; set aside. Mix butter until creamy. Add eggs + yolks, one at a time. Add extracts. Add dry ingredients gradually.

Make into balls and flatten with tortilla press. Alternately, may roll out and cut into circles. Brush with egg white wash; sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

Spread parchment paper on baking sheet. Bake 350 degrees until edges are just golden. Do not overbake.
