Large Tube or bundt pan

1 box yellow cake mix (She always used Dunkin Hines!)
1 3 oz box vanilla pudding
1 Cup water
1/2 Cup oil
4 eggs
1-2 oz whiskey
3/4 Cup chopped pecans, walnuts or a mixture of both

Beat at high speed of electric mixer for 5 minutes.

Bake 350º 50-55 minutes till toothpick tests clean

Remove from oven and poke skewers all around into cake

3/4 Cup granulated sugar
1/4 Cup butter - melted
1/2 Cup whiskey

Cook butter and sugar over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Add whiskey and stir till combined.

Pour syrup over cake while both are still hot and cake is still in the pan.

Let sit about 2 1/2 hours. Remove from pan and turn right side up. Dust with confectioners sugar. Refrigerate for 24 hours to get best taste
