4 eggs
2 Cups sugar
3 Cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 Cup Orange Juice
1 Cup oil
2 1/2 tsp vanilla



Mix together and set aside
4-5 apples
5 Tbs sugar
2 Tbs cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375º
Grease and flour tube pan

Beat eggs until light and lemony about 4 minutes. Add sugar and beat an additional 4 minutes. Lower mixer and add juice, oil, vanilla till blended. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix about 2 minutes

Pour small amount of batter into pan just till about covering bottom. Add some apple slices to cover. Continue layering batter and apples for about 4 layers having some apple slices on top.

Bake for approx. 1 hour 20 minutes until toothpick comes out clean

Let sit in pan about 20 minutes before you take out. After removing from pan turn it right side up again so you see the apples on top. Dust with confectioners sugar
