GERMAN CHOC ICING & FILLING


Ingredients:

1 c evaporated milk
1 c sugar
3 egg yolks, beaten
½ c margarine
1 tsp vanilla
½ c chopped pecans
½ c chopped coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all the above ingredients (except for the pecans, coconut and vanilla) Blend well.
Cook on low fire- stirring often. When it starts to thicken add in the nuts, vanilla and coconut.
 

GERMAN CHOC CAKE


Ingredients:

2 c sugar
1¾ c all purpose flour
¾ c Hershey powder cocoa
½ tsp soda
½ tsp baking powder
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 c milk
1 c boiling water
½ c oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda and baking powder well. Set aside.

In mixing bowl, Mix eggs, milk, oil, vanilla and hot water. Add in your dry ingredients. Blend well! Pour in (2) 8" cake pans. Bake in oven 350º for 25 minutes. Let your cake cook before putting on the icing.
