¼ cup minced green onions with tops
3 Tbsp butter
1 can cream of celery soup
1 cup sour cream at room temperature
2 Tbsp prepared mustard.
salt and pepper to taste
8 oz. fine or medium green noodles
⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese
2 cups diced cooked ham
4 tomato slices
breadcrumbs

Directions:
Saute the green onions in 1 Tbsp butter in a saucepan until tender. Stir in the soup, and heat. Gradually add the sour cream and heat gently. Stir in the mustard, salt, and pepper, and remove from the heat. Cook the noodles until just tender, and drain. Turn into a large bowl, and mix with the remaining 2 Tbsp of butter and the grated parmesan. Spoon half of the noodles into a buttered 1.5 quart round casserole. Top with the diced ham and then the remaining noodles. Pour the sauce over the noodles and ham. Arrange the tomato slices on top as a garnish. Sprinkle the surface with the bread crumbs. Bake in a preheated moderate oven (375º F) for 25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
