1 lg angel food cake

For the Custard:1
1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12oz) tub frozen whipped topping, thawed

For the glaze:
3/4 C sugar
3 T cornstarch
6 T strawberry gelatin (Jell-O)
2 C water
2 C fresh strawberries cut in 1/4-1/2 depending on size

Whole or half strawberries and some mint for garnish

Custard:
Mix together cream cheese & condensed milk in a lg bowl until smooth, fold in whipped topping, set aside.

Glaze:
In med saucepan, stir together sugar, cornstarch, gelatin and add water. Cook, stirring, over medium heat until thick. Remove from heat, allow to cool completely then add strawberries.

Assembly:
Place 1 layer of medium sized cubed angel food cake in the bottom of a large clear bowl. Top with a layer of glaze, followed by a layer of custard mixture. Repeat layering in this order until finished with custard. Garnish with half or whole strawberries and
mint.

This is an easy, rich & decadent desert with a wonderful taste of cream cheese You can also make individual servings for deserts or picnics. It makes a lot of topping and I usually freeze leftovers in small servings for follow-up fruit deserts.
