Ingredients:  
1 ½ lb. hamburger
6 cups water
3 tsp. instant beef bouillon
2 cups sliced carrots
1 ½ cups chopped onions
1 ½ cups chopped celery
½ cup chopped green pepper
⅓ cup barley
1 tsp. salt
⅛ tsp. pepper
2 bay leaves
¼ cup ketchup
28 oz can tomatoes, undrained & cut up.
8 oz can tomato sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat. Drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Cover & simmer 1 hour or until vegetables are done & barley tender.

Used zucchini or potatoes instead of green pepper.
