1 large can peaches in light syrup
2 beaten eggs
⅔ c milk
6 T crisco
2 c flour
½ c sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
extra sugar
Optional: cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl mix flour, salt and baking powder. Set aside.

In another bowl beat eggs, add sugar, shortening, and milk. Then add in the flour mixture.

Drain off half of liquid in canned peaches. Slice peaches.

Grease baking dish. Spread out the peaches and syrup in the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle sugar over peaches. Spoon the batter over the peaches. Sprinkle a little cinnamon over the top.

Bake 375º for 45 minutes until brown. You can use brown sugar and butter.
