CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE

2 c flour
2 c sugar
4 T cocoa
2 sticks of butter
1 c boiling water
½ c buttermilk
2 whole beaten eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
In a mixing bowl combine flour and sugar.

In a saucepan melt the butter, add cocoa and stir together. Add the boiling water and let it boil for 30 seconds. Turn off the heat. Pour over the flour mixture and stir lightly to cool.

In a measuring cup, pour buttermilk, add beaten eggs, baking soda and vanilla. Stir buttermilk in Butter/Chocolate mixture.

Bake 375º for 20 minutes.
 

CHOCOLATE SHEETCAKE FROSTING
Ingredients:

½ c finely chopped pecans
1 stick of butter
½ c cocoa
6 T evap milk
3¾ c powdered sugar
Vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Chop pecans finely. Melt butter in a saucepan. Add cocoa, stir to combine then turn off heat and add the milk, vanilla and powdered sugar. Stir together. Add the pecans, stir together and pour over warm cake OR Susan likes to put on when the cake is cool.
