1 band of asparagus
1 pack of thick-cut bacon
1 tbsp of olive oil
Lemon juice
1 tbsp of black pepper
*Optional* - 1 tbsp of garlic salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut asparagus stocks off
2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
3. Season asparagus with lemon juice and pepper or lemon pepper seasoning and olive oil
4. Wrap two individual asparagus together with one piece of black pepper bacon and stick with a toothpick
5. Bake in oven for 10-12 minutes and serve

This has become a birthday staple of mine. I love asparagus and eat it like it’s candy. Our parents always talked about the importance of eating vegetables and while I don’t personally consider it to be since I love it so much, why not enjoy it a bit with some bacon :)
