2 large cans evaporated milk
5-1/2 c. white granulated sugar
5-1/2 T. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a 9x13-inch baking pan. In a large, heavy saucepan, mix milk, white sugar, butter and salt, and bring to a boil. Add brown sugar and stir until it dissolves. Continue cooking until mixture reaches softball stage (234º to 240ºF on a Candy thermometer). Stir until thick enough (as fudge). Pour into buttered baking pan. Cool and cut into small squares.
