15.25 oz box white cake mix
4 large eggs
1 cup water
3 T vegetable oil

FILLING:
14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup key lime juice
1/2 cup heavy cream
3/4 tsp grated key lime zest

TOPPING:
8 oz container of cool whip
3/4 tsp key lime grated zest

Preheat oven to 350º. Using a baking spray, spray bottom and sides of a 9x13 baking pan.

In a large bowl, mix all cake ingredients shown, using an electric mixer for about 2 minutes. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until done.

After the cake is out of the oven, poke holes all over the surface of the cake, using a poker type object. Set aside.

FILLING:
In a medium size bowl, mix all ingredients listed above and whisk until combined. Mixture will thicken as mixed.

Slowly pour mixture over the entire surface of the cake, allowing the mixture to seep down into the poked holes. Using a spatula, run it back and forth over the top, helping to spread the filling. Cover the cake and refrigerate for several hours.

TOPPING:
Spread the cool whip over the top of the cake. Sprinkle with grated lime zest.
