2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup white corn syrup
2 sticks butter
1/2 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine brown sugar, syrup and butter in a deep sauce pan. Boil hard for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 tsp baking soda, stir well as it will foam up in pan. Pour over 5 quarts freshly popped corn in a large roaster pan and stir well until caramel mixture has coated popcorn evenly. Bake at 250º oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool and put in sealed container.
