2 cups penne pasta
1 tbsp butter
1 clove garlic minced
1 1/2 tbsp flour
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup parmigiano cheese
1 pinch ground nutme\g
1 cup cubed chicken (breast or thigh)

Cook penne pasta until tender but firm to the touch.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat and cook garlic for 1 minute. Whisk in flour until paste forms. Pour in milk and cream whisking continuously until smooth. Stir in 3/4 of the cheese and nutmeg. Add drained penne pasta and cooked chicken: stir to combine. Pour mixture into a buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven until cheese is melted or about 12 - 14 minutes.

When I made this, I poured 1/2 of the pasta mixture into a casserole dish then added cubed swiss cheese. I then added the rest of the mixture and topped it with the cheese as directed.

Sandy said it was VERY GOOD!!

I should add that I cut up some for Oscar and he agreed that it was good as he never left his dog bowl until it was empy!
