16 c. tomatoes, peeled and chopped
scant cup of sugar
2 tsp.pepper
4 c. chopped onion
3 tsp. garlic salt
1-1/2 tsp. chili powder

2 c. chopped jalapeños
1/3 c. pickling salt
1 small can tomato paste
2-1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. alum

Directions:
Put all ingredients together in a large pot. Cook for 1-1/2 hours. Pour into sterilized jars. Seal and place in hot water bath for 35 minutes.
